Fanie is a Senior Fund Accountant in the Fund Administration team, having jointed Paget-Brown Financial Services Limited in 2023.

Fanie specializes in the preparation of NAV’s calculations, financial statements and provides audit support to fund administration clients, with over 7 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and tax in a multitude of industries including financial services, real estate development and investment, transport and distribution, forestry and agriculture, manufacturing, and non-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Paget-Brown, Fanie was an Audit Manager at another firm in the Cayman Islands, where he was responsible for performing, reviewing, and overseeing a variety of audits in the financial services industry.

Fanie started his professional career in 2016 with RSM SA Durban, South Africa where he was involved in audit and tax matters for various companies and trusts. He later worked for Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP in Wisconsin, USA in the manufacturing division and TWK Agri (Pty) Ltd in South Africa as an accountant in the finance department.

Fanie is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) as well as the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
